Diminuta is a small illustration fair organized by Estudio Genial in Montevideo, Uruguay. Just a handful of female artists are invited to each edition, and a lot of care is put in creating a nice and friendly environment for everyone.
That warm and cozy vibe was the inspiration for the characters, as well as Harry Whittier Frees' cat pictures from the early 1900s.
